Niagara Arts & Cultural Center | Niagara Falls

Originally opened in 1904 as the Niagara Falls High School, this historic building has transformed into a community-focused center that houses more than 100 artists. Along with visual arts, visitors can enjoy live theater, dance companies and other performances year-round.

  • Grab dinner at one of Niagara Falls’ cozy, family-owned Italian restaurants in the surrounding Little Italy.


Historic Palace Theatre | Lockport

This historic theater has been a community staple in Lockport for almost 100 years. Expect stellar renditions of Broadway faves by the resident company, Curtain Up Productions.

Riviera Theatre | North Tonawanda

Home to an original “Mighty Wurlitzer” organ, this historic landmark plays host to music acts, plays and variety shows — and, of course, Wurlitzer organ concerts.

Ghostlight Theatre | North Tonawanda

Housed in a (haunted!) 1889 church building, the Ghostlight is the home of a non-profit company called Starry Night Theatre. (They claim to have captured a photo of a ghost during a 2004 production of A Christmas Carol. Spooky!)

Artpark | Lewiston

Officially known as Earl W. Brydges Artpark State Park, this summer venue offers concerts, Broadway musicals, orchestra performances and more in an idyllic setting along the Niagara Gorge.

  • Grab dinner at Griffon Brewery & Gastropub for worldly pub fare, like banh-mi nachos, Jamaican jerk salmon and a covetable menu of burgers. (Those sweeping Niagara River views on the patio are a definite plus.)
