Locks District Museum
Overview
Lockport's Locks District Museum is located in the Lockport Locks, between the Erie Canal Flight of Five Locks and the Erie Barge Canal Locks. The Locks District Museum graphically compares and contrasts the changes in technology between the construction of the 19th Century Erie Canal and the 20th Century Erie Barge Canal. The museum is a self-guided interpretative facility, and is a great starting point for a tour of the Lockport Locks.
